Bernie It was a movie with Dustin Hoffman and used a Buick convertible in it. It is a good movie (and beautiful car!).
60FlatTop
Well, I hope they kept the top up and had good weatherstrips if there was a lot of rain. Hoffman. he looked a little odd and was kind of short for a German name. I never saw many of his movies. Missed it. Bernie
RivNut
Dustin Hoffman's character couldn't say Raymond, his brother's name, and it came out "Rainman." I've lived with that nomikar for many years. Rather than going through the formal Echo Romeo Foxtrot niiner fife Zulu crap, all of us platoon leaders in my Guard unit had our short cut radio call signs: Lawman was a police officer, Bigfoot wore size 15 boots, Dr. Feel good, was a pharmacist, etc.
