MikeC5
If it really is a 1914 is an older restoration like this really in that price range? http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/dodge/unspecified/1834802.html
nearchoclatetown
Serial number MIGHT tell, but it looks like a pile of parts.'14 would have an air pump. Should have four wire starer. Engine is much later. Many other things are later too. MIGHT be as new as a '19 with early parts. nearchoclatetown
The hood, front fenders, headlight rod, possibly the rear fenders, wheels, dash, steering wheel, trans, rear engine mount, complete engine, horn, gas tank probably rear brakes, Where do you want to stop? I think it's more of a '19 or '20. As I said, the number MAY say.
GaryP65
Someone should tell him the boys are watching. Make him an honest man. Like we did in Brooklyn in the 70's. Edited May 23, 2016 by GaryP65 (see edit history)
dwollam
Definitely not a 14, 15, or 16 and not a 20 as evidenced by the cast door hinges which ended with the 1919 cars. 14-16 had the shorter 110" w/b with abbreviated front fenders. This one is 114" which makes it a 17-19 car. Nice looking old DB with a few inconsistencies but not worth near the money in my humble opinion. Wish it was though, then I would sell some of mine! RAH
Guy, I believe this car is at least 1919. NO part of it is '14. The tourings up to 1918 had the rear fenders fastened to the body via a curved angle iron. In 1919 they were recessed into notches in the body. All I can say is Caviet Emptor!
