southpaw52
Hi all,now that Rosie has her correct wheels and bias tires on I am wondering how I should be caring for the tires over the winter months while she is parked with only occasional short trips. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Anne
avgwarhawk
Taking the car out for a drive so to not allow a flat spot on the tire to develop is the best way to prevent said flat spots. I run bias and drive my Buick every weekend weather allowing. No issues with the tires. Others who battle winter and have no chance of getting their cars out will sometimes put the car up on jack stands. The tires are then off the ground and no flat spots can develop. old-tank
Store indoors, 32psi, drive when you can. I have never had a problem and some of my tires were 20 years old when finally worn and replaced.
