My 1916 D-45 has the original crank stub cover and it doesn't look anything like this. Just wondering what you are thinking here. DavidMc Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 All the Buick crankhole covers I have seen have a slightly dome end and a twist turn socket connection to attach to the pins on the engine, like a light bulb socket.. That one has a split or splits which implies it is only held on by friction. It would soon fall off if used as a crankhole cover.
