No way that I know of to manually move the seats. The bad circuit may be under the carpet under the seat (any water in the interior ends up there) or in the door hinge area (doors opening and closing thousands of times kills the wires).

As F14Crazy stated, there could be a number of reasons why the power seat is not working. If you know for sure the switch is bad, it really very easy to replace. It prys out of the door panel with little trouble. Once out, it unplugs. Just reverse the procedure to put it back together. I bet Jim, would have a good switch that he would sell for a reasonable price.

The power seat technology is ancient..... the only thing the car manufactures have done is cost reduce the parts. The motors have short flexable drive shafts. You may have a bad drive shaft or it may have come out or the gearbox. There are bolts at the front and back of the seat that bolt it to the floor. Depending on where the seat is... you can probably get to either the front or back bolts pretty easily. The other two may take some effort because the seat is in the way. Once you get the seat out you can flip it over on a table and work on the mechanism.
