I'm still hoping to find a decent engine for a 1939 Oldsmobile six close to eastern Massachusetts. The 1940 engine is the same according to the Olds club. Thanks!

Wanted- six cylinder engine for 1939 Oldsmobile
noreastcarnut replied to noreastcarnut's topic in Parts Wanted
Guys, Sorry so slow for responding to your replies. I am not on line often. I understand the 1939-1940 Oldsmobile 6s are the same. I do need one from those years. Unfortunately, I hope to find an engine close to eastern Massachusetts. This '39 Olds deserves the correct engine. The last owner let the block crack! I can be patient. Maybe a decent one will turn up. I have notified the various Olds clubs. Thank you! John -

ANY SPECTATORS NEED CAMPING OR PARKING SPOT FOR HERSHEY?
noreastcarnut replied to noreastcarnut's topic in General Discussion
Yes, it's quite high from Herco. $50 a day and you have to buy all week! At this museum it's $15 a day for each parking/camping space. How about that? -
On Tuesday, we find that some vendors start coming in to set up around 9 am. It is after lunch time that we arrive from Massachusetts. We set up our camper at the Hershey Historical museum then ride our bikes out into the partially filled fields. On Tuesday, you get to ride bikes all over with no problems. We like Tuesday afternoons for early bird stuff. Good luck!

By the way, IT'S ONLY $15 A DAY to park your car or camper!

IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN KNOWING A GREAT PLACE TO PARK YOUR CAMPER OR CAR FOR HERSHEY WEEK? THE HERSHEY-DERRY TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY OFFERS LIMITED CAMPER AND CAR PARKING AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE ON THEIR GROUNDS. THEY ARE LOCATED ACROSS FROM THE OUTLET MALL ON NORTHEAST DRIVE. THEIR PHONE IS 717.520.0748- ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE PARKING LOT PEOPLE. WE HAVE PARKED-CAMPED ON THEIR GROUNDS FOR MANY YEARS AND FIND IT CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE HERSHEY FIELDS. OF COURSE IT IS HANDY TO THE MALL. PLEASE ASK ME ABOUT THIS, IF YOU WISH.

I have a large 1237 piece collection of almost all sales catalogs from the 1920's into the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. Also there are included catalogs from the 90's into the 2000's. Most are in perfect, clean, uncirculated condition. Many of the later ones come with press packages. Some come in their original factory envelopes. Many prestige large catalogs are with the older years. They are in about 25 boxes here in Rockport MA 01966. I am waiting for any reasonable offer. Questions?
