  1. MAYBE I WILL STILL BE ABLE TO FIND A DECENT 1939-40 OLDS SIX ENGINE CLOSER TO EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS AN IDEA. THANKS.
  2. I'm still hoping to find a decent engine for a 1939 Oldsmobile six close to eastern Massachusetts. The 1940 engine is the same according to the Olds club. Thanks!
  3. Guys, Sorry so slow for responding to your replies. I am not on line often. I understand the 1939-1940 Oldsmobile 6s are the same. I do need one from those years. Unfortunately, I hope to find an engine close to eastern Massachusetts. This '39 Olds deserves the correct engine. The last owner let the block crack! I can be patient. Maybe a decent one will turn up. I have notified the various Olds clubs. Thank you! John
  4. I'm looking for a decent six cylinder engine for a 1939 Oldsmobile sedan. Any ideas?
  5. I should have said more photos and description can be seen on Hemmings web site.
  6. I should have said to look at all the photos and information on Hemmings Motor News site. Search for 1951 Lincoln.
  7. OK, here are some photos to view. I can't fit more photos on this forum. This is a car just about perfect as it came from the Factory. It is not rusty or been repaired. Yes, it will need seat covers and tires, and maybe re-chrome part of the rear bumper.
  8. Desoto 6 cylinder engine available. 1950's? It is used, but came out of another car, not Desoto. This engine is not stuck, but there are no accessories, just the block. photos attached. $250. Contact 978.546.9309 Rockport MA or email. No texts please.
  9. 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, probably the best buy now. It's all original except quality repaint of factory color. Contact for complete description and honest answers. $18,000. Call 978.546.9309 or email, no texts please.

  11. What we have been doing is arrive on TUESDAY. This is the day the vendors arrive and set up after 9 AM. It's worth checking out.
  12. Yes, it's quite high from Herco. $50 a day and you have to buy all week! At this museum it's $15 a day for each parking/camping space. How about that?
  13. There is a neat spot for Hershey parking and limited camping at the Hershey-Derry Historical Society right by the shopping mall. If one is interested, call the museum at 717.520.0748 and ask for the parking coordinator . It's quite reasonable!
  14. On Tuesday, we find that some vendors start coming in to set up around 9 am. It is after lunch time that we arrive from Massachusetts. We set up our camper at the Hershey Historical museum then ride our bikes out into the partially filled fields. On Tuesday, you get to ride bikes all over with no problems. We like Tuesday afternoons for early bird stuff. Good luck!
