  11. I'd like to know where I can find the correct length of my 1951 Lincoln HOLLOW fuel pump push rod. I may be able to braize onto it if necessary and keep it open for oil flow.
  12. I have a problem with a tapping noise from my fuel pump rod in my 1951 Lincoln flathead V8. When starting cold, it's quiet, then as it warms. the tapping sound gets louder. It's like a lifter sound when stuck, but that's not it. The rod to the fuel pump is operated from the camshaft. It is hollow which allows oil to enter from the sides near the bottom and exit the top center, lubing the fuel pump. I removed the rod twice and cleaned it, tried different fuel pumps, but it's the same noise! Now what??
  13. I'M IN NEED OF A HEAD GASKET FOR MY 1951 LINCOLN 337CID FLAT HEAD V8. PEOPLE ARE ASKING TOO MUCH ($145) ON EBAY. ANY IDEAS??
  14. 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Sport Sedan- Original, only repainted. Only 59,000 miles. Very SOLID, SOLID, and SOLID. A quality repaint of the original color, but no filler or rust repair. Chrome is decent. It does not leak fluids, it drives quiet and smooth. There is NO RUST, DUST, MOANS, OR GROANS! Nothing has been changed or altered. If a person wants to restore this Lincoln, it has all the things it came with from the factory. Maybe just drive as is? Contact me for much more info if interested. The price is ONLY $20,000.
  15. I need a 1953 Ford car grill bar that is on the driver's side. I am looking for nos, not rechromed. I can't afford the $550. people ask on Ebay! My Ford is a driver, not a show car.
  16. Here is a 1971 VW bug convertible, the small one. It has been restored and cared for by an adult non-smoker. It drives as a VW should. I drove it on a 300 mile trip recently. It's nickname is "Soft Jade". It comes with all restoration records, photos and receipts. Always garaged, it looks perfect even though the restoration was done 8-10 years ago. The interior is the restorers custom design. The exterior has a new top with a glass rear window. It also has very new running boards, chrome headlight rims, chrome rear fender stone guards witch were installed since the photos. This VW has heater boosters to keep it warm. Keep in mind that there is NO rust, dust, moans or groans. It will come with many extra parts and all documentation. If one is interested, act fast as it is being advertised in Hemmings also. The most reasonable price is $9950. My location is Rockport MA 01966.
  17. 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan sport sedan. This is an original, unmolested solid classy Lincoln. It was repainted only with the same colors. There was no body work required. Only 59,000 miles. The chrome is decent. The interior seats may need covers, but the padding is ok. It has the Hydramatic transmission. This is a chance to own, to drive or restore. A realistic price of $20,000. Located in Rockport MA 01966.
