(Daytona Shelby, GLHS, CSX, etc) TII with manual transmission did not come with CBV/BOV. (TC) TII with automatic transmisison came with CBV/BOV Shelby Lancer with auto trans, I'm not sure if those came with CBV/BOV.

Parts availability is a HUGE issue with 16v cars, with only 501 cars ever made. I'm glad your grandma was not in it when it happened. I just finished parting out a TC. Barely over $1500 of parts sold (a lot of parts I sold is damaged in your car), way over 30 hours involved.
