code means what??

I can't seem to find what b447c means. I get that the "c" means current.

I ran the diagnostics today, and still not 100% sure at what I am doing. I had a b446H, 6552H,and something which looked at a little "r" in front of 025H and 034H.

Can anybody shed some light for me

Thanks~Tammy Girl

Not that familiar with 90s but suffixes are c-current and h-history. Prefixes are e-engine (may look like r), b-body, and c-CRT (may not have on 90)

History means it was set at some point in the past but cleared.

025 - MAT sensor (on bottom of air cleaner)

034 - MAF sensor (on throttle body)

446 & 447- low refigerant in a/c

552 - BCM "keep alive" (battery disconnect will set)

Your car is telling you that it is too cold outside and it wants to be returnred to the garage until the temperature warms up. I could be wrong on this though?

LOL! What would I do without you guys? I agree it is bloomin' cold, and I hate having the car just sit there. It would be better if I had a heated garage, so I could sneek out there when the baby goes down to nap, and tinker a bit. Even better if I didn't have to make payments on a car I'm not driving.

Can anybody confirm what Padgett has said? Thanks~ Tammy Girl

I would take almost anything Padgett says as gospel, after all he's our "Chief Science Officer".

*Not that he's infallable, just he really knows this stuff.
