CBoz Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 1937 coupe sedan:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1937-Linc...1QQcmdZViewItemHope the bidder has a spare dash
JimNap Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Yeah Cecil - that would be brave. But speaking of brave - or perhaps "bold"? - take a look at this: Yellow 1936 LZ Sedan I think I might actually prefer to have the Coupe Sedan...Jim
CBoz Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Yikes! I guess that's what happens when you decide to paint with just primary colors.
JimNap Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Funny thing too...I have a 1985-1/2 Porsche 944 I was considering doing a "quicke" resto on with performance mods and actually thought it might look good in canary yellow.Seeing this sedan has pretty much changed my mind...and turned my stomach...The weird thing - look what sort of reaction it's getting...22 bids thus far? Wow. I guess this means canary yellow is the new "in" color on classic 30's cars!
CBoz Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Speaking of L-Zs, I'd argue that this is a much better deal at the current bid than our Canary Yellow friend:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...mMakeTrack=trueOf course, you've got to like four-door convertible sedans, but it's certainly a rarer car. Apologies to those who don't like fleabay, but it certainly is fun to track these things...
Rolf Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Yeah Cece, where else except the De Soto site are you going to find a 1936 yellow cab?
