Aha, I see it now. That "falling away line" at the rear is why I put the spoiler on mine. Call me crazy

Sorry about the hubcaps--it was just so easy to airbrush some in for the sample pic. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> ... </div></div>

I don't know Phil...........Your car looks so much cleaner with hubcaps.....................faster, even. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I really like the rear that way too. Maui mentioned doing this in my first "bumper smoothing" post:

Maui wrote on 5/9/06--"Personally, I would like to see someone do away with the rear "shelf", and have one continuous radius from the tail light down. Or have I been watching too much "Overhaulin'"?

I even have a pic with it modified that way. It wouldn't have been too hard to do, but the rear bumper would be lost, and I didn't find the improvement in looks to be enough to warrant such a drastic loss of crash protection. I also didn't think others would be ok with this loss either.

Incidentally, I had cut off the corners of the front end to make it more rounded, but ended up epoxying them back on for the same reason as I didn't shorten the rear. I wanted the new bumper to be an easy switch, and requiring someone to hack off the corners of their front bumper to swap in the new one isn't "easy."

I would consider doing a shortened rear again, though. I agree it looks better. I would finish the one I have first, and then maybe make an alternative one that is shorter. We'll see. For those familiar with the rear of a Reatta, do you think there is space under such a rear shortened/radiused bumper to fit a fabricated tube bumper? Also, would any of you consider swapping your rear bumper for another if it meant losing your bumper or going to a smaller one underneath the new rear?

The black car and blue car are not the same.

That black car is marked turbocharged but it is not.

The front air dam is the lower portion of the front bumper from a saturn SC2 (early 90's I think)

The sideskirts are from a Buick Regal GS 4 door. </div></div>

What year GS? Those sideskirts would make a good spring/summer project for me and my dad lol.

Just keeping the thread alive lol. I've been looking around for that body kit with no luck of course. I was hoping to catch DTakas to shed some light on the side skirts.

Maybe the rub strip would be ok, if it did not go across the rear of the car, kinda like the chrome strip on the rear corners of a Lacrosse

F14, look at it this way. Your car is being immortalized. That side pic with the 17s just screams "Customize me!"

D. Solo, I actually don't think it looks bad at all, and you definitely have better photoshopping skills than I do.

It was just easier to photoshop F14's that it would be to PS mine lol. The colors on his car blend better.

Haha true.

Like I said I don't have the high res version cuz of a hard drive failure, but I guess the low quality makes it easier to chop

yep i've seen the universal ones but i wanted a more traditional look. Most of the Universal ones are either too exotic or too plain lol. Thanks for the reply though, if you find out anything else let us know.
