carbuff
My 1989 Reatta keyless enty module does not work. I assume the panel behind passenger seat can be removed by removing the 3 screws next to the trunk pass through hole and then prying the panel off. Please advise if this is the proper way to get to this module. Is the module fastened by a retention wire clip or is it bolted down. Any suggestions as to where to purchase the module at a reasonable price. My dealers price is $425 and they are not sure they can locate one. Rawja
contact Jim Finn JFinn@cpinternet.com he should be able to hook you up with a new module.I'm recollecting this from a while ago, but I believe you'll have more to remove than just 3 screws. I think you'll need to remove the 'B' Pillar trim, including the seatbelt outlet and coathook, the center top cover over the third brake light and then the curved lower trim panel (I think there are screws along the top of the panel you'll need to access). Barney Eaton
The keyless module is on the drivers side of the rear.

carbuff
Can I reach this module through the trunk without removing the driver side comaprment panels? Is the module retained by a clip versus screws. Thank you.
