Can I reach this module through the trunk without removing the driver side comaprment panels? Is the module retained by a clip versus screws. Thank you.

My 1989 Reatta keyless enty module does not work. I assume the panel behind passenger seat can be removed by removing the 3 screws next to the trunk pass through hole and then prying the panel off. Please advise if this is the proper way to get to this module. Is the module fastened by a retention wire clip or is it bolted down. Any suggestions as to where to purchase the module at a reasonable price. My dealers price is $425 and they are not sure they can locate one. Thank you

My 1989 Reatta windshield has many rock chips in it. I found and purchased a good windshield taken out on another Reatta. The windshield molding encapsulation was damaged upon removal by a glass company. The glass company in my home town is reluctant to install it because some of the encapsulation is missing. Can I remove all of the encapsulation and then have a glass company put a new molding around it upon installation, or would I be better off trying to find another glass company who will try to add to/repair the original encapsulation? The overdrive seems to go in and out too frequently. What activates it? Is it a vacuum or electrical activation? Is the activation unit inside or outside of the transmission? This problem happens at various speeds from 35 mph plus. When the transmission is cold the problem seems to be worse. Any suggestions as to the problem and a fix would be appreciated.

The heater stopped putting out heat. I checked the door linkage behind the glove box and the door seems to open and close. I replaced all the vaccum hoses in the engine compartment that I could find and still no heat when set at maximun heat. Any suggestions?

I have several burnt out bulbs in my 1989 Reatta LH front park & signal lamp. I would like to remove the whole lamp and replace all bulbs. How many screws hold this lamp in place and can they all be removed from the underneath the car without taking anything else apart?

Most likely your door lock acuator is not strong enough to make it unlock. I just installed a new one on my 1989 Reatta and also lubed all door lock mech. I could get to. The units sold on Ebay come from China and they do not work in cold weather.

I have a 1989 Reatta with a damaged hood emblem. I purchased a replacement emblem and it is 2 inches across and the one on my car is 3 inches across. Which size hood emblems came on which model years? Someone may have put a newer hood on my car explainig the difference in the replacement size.

I cannot find the one touch entry system control box on my 1989 Reatta. I have looked in the trunk behind the driver's side shelf speaker and it is not there. I want to program my key fab. Any suggestions on where else to look?

My 1989 Reatta CRT screen that controls radio, climate, etc. at times the total screen seems to float slightly. The controls work fine. Is this a problem with the CRT or the CRT controller module or just normal for this unit?

My 1989 Reatta switch modlues backlights only work when the fog lights are on. When I have the fog lights and the headlights on together and then put the brights/headlights on the backlights go off and the speedometer and CRT unit go to daylight mode and get real bright which is blinding. Any suggestions on fix?

Fan works and no heat comes out of any area when the systems decides not work, which is most of the time

Heater does not always put out heat when the motor is warm. I turn the heat control to maximum heat, but very little if any heat comes out the vent. Sometimes I do get heat and its seems to work ok. I assume I have some type of temp. sensor problem. Please provide suggestions as to problem cause and fix.
