TRANSITONE Posted January 11, 2006 Share Posted January 11, 2006 I have a 1930 TRANSITONE 109A radio built by AUTOMOBILE RADIO CORP. NOT PHILCO it was an OME for FRANKLIN,STUTZ,JORDAN, PIERCE ARROW ,PACKARD ,and CHRYSLER cars,mine was in a DODGE ,I'm looking for information I don't already have ,got a fair amont now to share with others interested in this radio , would like to get production # , original advertising ,would like to hear from other owners of this radio ,THANK YOU Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a 1929 Packard with a radio made by Browning and Blake mounted in the dash. The car is an Individual Custom designed and built by Ray Dietrich. Joe Block Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 AS i recall some of them were three piees and some were 4 with a big transformer under the passenger seat. the face plate on the steering column are interchangeable.
