R W Burgess
I'm sorry to say that Buddy Brill, a National Judge, has passed away early this morning, after taking sick Monday morning. He and his wife, Mary, could be seen at most any AACA show on the east coast judging and showing their cars. As past President Earl Beauchamp said, "MANY OF YOU KNOW BUDDY AND HIS CADILLACS AND HUDSONS. HE AND MARY HAVE JUST COMPLETED THEIR HUGE GARAGE IN KILMARNOCK, VA WHERE HE HOUSES HIS 23 CARS. THEY OFTEN SHOWED THEIR CARS AT NATIONAL MEETS, MOST RECENTLY IN WARREN, OHIO WHERE THEY SHOWED THEIR 1940 CADILLAC 60-S." Buddy was a very important member of the Northern Neck Region and very supportive of our shows and activities. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with Mary. Terry Bond
Oh-no...Buddy was truely one of this hobby's gentlemen. He was a strong AACA supporter and that included participating with neighboring AACA regions as well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary, all the Northern Neck'rs and all of our AACA family. He will be missed!Keep us advised of funeral arrangements.Terry
Peter J.Heizmann
Very sad to hear of this, Wayne. Heard a lot about Buddy and when I asked Earl Beauchamp to introduce me to him at the Warren Meet banquet it makes our 20 minute chat more meaningful. As Terry pointed out, he was one great gentleman.Peter.
Joanna
Wayne, Thank You very much for letting us know about Buddy. I am shocked. Tom & I first met Buddy and Mary on the Sentimental tour held in White Stone, Va. They became special friends. Was so glad to visit with them in Warren. Buddy was so proud of his new garage and his car collection. He will truly be missed. My love goes out to Mary.

R W Burgess
Finally came across a picture of Buddy and Mary today. They are seated in front of Margaret and Merle Horsman at a Pontiac Show in North Carolina(?) last month. Buddy was buried today in Arlington, Virginia.
