R W Burgess
Hi everyone. Philly is just around the corner. I have just brought the "DFer name tag" thread back to the top. I'd like to know the status on this name tag/button. I'm really interested in having one for the Philly web site, if not for everywhere else for the weekend. I'll be e-mailing David Deville directly. Steve Moskowitz
I guess I will not be able to wear my HVS name tag this year!

R W Burgess
Gosh, I'm trying to get some serious work done here(What did I expect from you guys!), and even my staunchest ally has gone bananas on me. Ok, I've e-mailed David(Novaman), but I believe Father Ron said he may have some capability too in getting this job done. If we can get roof repair accomplished, surely we can get a few stupid(their word, not mine) buttons put together. Waiting for answers with $20.00 bucks in my hand, or whatever it takes. Any other ideas? Guest
Steve ~ At this time I don't know. I have all the papers on my desk, but there are things that may interfere. It will be a last minute decision. If Al and I both show up who knows what might happen. Does he know Bookbinders is no more? That was one of the reasons we both used to come to Philly.Howard
R W Burgess
Bringing this back to the top. I have found the name of a company that produces the equipment to make the buttons. I'm headed in the right direction with this. I'll keep everyone posted. Wayne
novaman
Sorry about the disappearing act but things had gotten crazy here between work, carshows, newsletters, websites, parades and family for Thanksgiving. R W Burgess
David, I just changed the name in the Publisher format, changed it back to f.gif, and there she is. I just couldn't stand having "NearChoclate" on "my" name tag, even if it is spelled wrong. WaynePS, see attachment! R W Burgess
David, put a smily face in a post when calling me mud. I get enough of that from the wife. She just told me I'm taking her Christmas shopping tomorrow whether I like it or not! Can't get no respect! Thanks for the help. I'm looking forward to a bunch of new buttons at Philly this year. Oh, I think you should charge more too. I wouldn't go to all of that trouble for even $3.00 a piece. They're certainly worth $5.00 for the trouble. Wayne
novaman
I'm not interested in making a profit from the DFers and especially AACA members. Biggest thrill for me would be to seen them being worn! My artwork out there for the world to see. This is a hobby and where we should share our knowledge and talents. This project is the kind of thing I been going to school for and I got a great opportunity to turn that knowledge into experience.
