I believe it's a 1908 Mitchell, Model G. I used to own a 1909 Model J. They are nearly identical. Great photo.

You know Bill, we sure take a lot for granted. As we wash and wax our cars year round to keep that perfect shine, your picture reminds me, that we forget that in the early days those guys were just glad if the thing started. Of course washing a car to travel over dirt roads was also a complete waste of time. A buddy loaned me his video copy and I watched it the other night...a great two-hour trip back in time!
