29 Chandler
Looks great Peter, almost as it did in the old Antique Automobile article. Hope you have many years of driving it. Love the Chandler back window.Chris
Guest imported_PWN
Hello Spencer,I have a bunch of pics of the car. The wheels are the Houk wheels that were an option on the Dispatch. I am also a member of the club and hope to write and article in the future. The car was sold in Wauchula Florida by my grandfather Emerson Clavel (who owned many unusual cars including THE Adams Farwell, a 1905 Queen, and a VERY early Ford T (07?), among others. My Grandfather bought the car back form the original buyers son in the 1950 and restored it. It was featured in a 1967 Antique Automobile magazine.I have some 1920 correspondence between my Grandfather and the VP of the Chandler Car Co. concerning bank financing of Automobiles as neccesities and NOT only for pleasure. Event went as far to say that automobiles promote Democracy and discourage communism and fascism.
