Buick began cataloging their Super Estate Wagon as a regular offering for 1940, promoting it as a 'smart, luxury choice'. Chrysler countered with their 1941 Royal Town & Country wagons. Both makes station wagons were priced in the upper-medium/entry-luxury segment.
