AACA show in Carlisle

Recommended Posts

Hi, Bob. Hope all is well.

The Gettysburg Region's website indicates they had 1278 show cars when they last hosted the Spring Meet in 1993. As for this meet, I would safely assume attendance will be fairly high.

See you, Patti, and Pat (ex98thdrill) Saturday.

Regards, Peter J. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Peter, we made the finishing touches on the woodie tonight. Tomorrow night, we're loading it in the trailer and pulling out bright and early Thursday morning. I'm looking forward to meeting you. After all of the e-mails that you and Wayne threw back and forth to me while I was in the middle east, you both made being away from home seem not so far away. After coming out of that situation and trying to adjust back into living a normal life, you helped give me a perspective on what to expect and how to deal with it. Even with my father being an army retiree himself, he never got put into the situations that I did, and couldn't relate to things like you and Wayne were able to. You helped me a lot and I can't thank you enough.

Pat...likewise. Looking forward to meeting you folks.

Local weather indicates possibility of rain showers Thursday. Friday & Saturday partial clouds/sunshine but windy.

Regards, Peter J.

Thanks Peter J. Patti and I will roll in Friday evening, just in time for the Ice Creme. We took the truck to Sycrause and Macungi. Both week ends had poor weather forcasted, but we still had a great time. Hope to receive a third Preservation in Carlisle.

The TR6 hasn't ran since we brought it home. It seems to be running on 5 cylinders and the brakes are worst than ever. Not sure what went wrong but I'll make it better.

Bob
