trimacar
1 hour ago, Hans1965 said: What an unbelievable bargain. Well, maybe, maybe not. Note that description states "ignition system and starter will require service", which sounds to me like the car is not running. That adds an unknown cost to purchasing the car. May be a simple fix, may be expensive, who knows. The car does look nice in pictures, but then again, so do most cars. Without a personal inspection I'd hold off on any bargain claim! Thanks for posting, interesting. dc
Xander Wildeisen
That is a popular car, Mecum draws a lot of people to their auctions. Car most likely landed on that sales number, because that is where it’s overall condition put it.
Hans1965
Photos for the records only. This was the deal of the century. 😪
Dosmo
I do really like the looks of this car - the two tone paint scheme is eye catching. These fastbacks have a swoopy style that is just striking. I had an uncle who owned a jet black one that had supposedly belonged to the late Roy Orbison. It performed great, although it was a beast to drive with no power steering.
