JRA Posted April 28 Share Posted April 28 (edited) In 1936, the Italian pilot Attilio D’Avanzo who admired aviation and cars, built a gas station in south of Brazil, city of Porto Alegre, based on the shape of an airplane. The building was demolished in 1968. The station was called “Santos Dumont”, the Brazilian aviation inventor and pioneer. The last picture shows the station during a flooding season.
