John N.
Dug this hubcap out of my yard, but can't seem to find what brand it is. The property used to be some kind of junkyard in the 40's, so anytime before then is right I believe.

mercman from oz
Is this Hubcap correct for the 1941 Plymouth?
JFranklin
That one looks like a '48 cap
mercman from oz
I got the above picture from a 1941 Plymouth that is For Sale assuming that it was correct for the 1941 Plymouth. Judging by what JFranklin says, this car must have the incorrect hubcaps. I checked the original Sales Brochure, and it appears that the 41 Plymouth Hubcaps have a similar design, but are smooth. The photo that I posted has a distinct "ring" pressing around the emblem. Check out the hubcaps shown in the Brochure.
JFranklin
Note on the ad the logo is also in italics.
mercman from oz
Is this the correct Hubcap for the 1941 Plymouth?
bryankazmer
The block letters are 46-48. The latter photo with the lower case letters is 41. I don’t know what was used in 42. I once bought a 41 with multiple style caps on it so had to sort out what belonged
