Leif in Calif
You rarely see this model, which I think looks better than the later waterfall grill. I had a '46 and I can tell you that modern wheels and tires (as this has) really throws off the steering geometry. Pretty easy to fix. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/cto/d/santa-cruz-38-chevy-pickup/7726644283.html 1938 Chevy pickup. Not a hot rod. Original 216 motor. switched to 12 volt battery. Runs great, starts right up. A little play in steering gear. New tires. (510) 459-9469
Fossil
That is a nice looking truck. Like it much better than the later design.
Reynard
The little wheels and inch walls have to go. The interior is way overboard. THIS WAS A UTILITY VEHICLE. Also poor choice in paint, IMHO.
TAKerry
Im not sure the wheels look so bad as it may be parked on a hill and the perception is off a bit. The colour not too bad, but that interior.......woof!! But that should be a fairly simple fix. I dont think the price is horrible for this one.
deac
The wheels and tire are not original to the truck as mentioned and they detract from the truck. The seller went a little too crazy with the wood graining in the cab and what going on with the floor covering in the cab. This a nice 20 thousand dollar truck. I must say it wouldn't be too much work to return this more of an original example. I like the late 30's Ford pick ups better!
