deac
1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop Coupe, 16,566 miles *** CAR IS LOCATED IN MONTEREY, CA*** This Ford Mustang is in Excellent Condition! Extremely original, low-mileage California vehicle in Wimbledon white with Red vinyl interior. 16,566 mi. on odometer, believed to be actual. Very well-maintained, with some receipts. Automatic transmission, with the 289 motor. Owned originally by Grandfather, then Father and passed down to Son. This car has always been garaged as the "family treasure", hence its extremely low miles. Extremely clean and original example of a Mustang! $35,000 OBO More pictures on original website post! https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ctd/d/carmel-1966-ford-mustang-coupe-miles/7697916627.html I don't own this car and I have no stake in the sale. 1957Birdman
A mighty nice looking Mustang. If it has been a California car since new it probably has no rust issues and with a little cleaning under the hood it would be ready to show. Of course it would be a shame to let a car like this sit in the garage with a cover over it. They were meant to drive! I also think the price is in the ballpark. 7th Son
Title line says $29k, seller says $35k --- trailer queen and garage art either way, IMHO.
kingrudy
Very beautiful car, but not sure if the price is accurate. There sure is no shortage of this model around. Ford built a ton of these cars and I believe that you could build this car from scratch with only a vin number to work with. The six cylinder cars in this body style are very plentiful. Sure is a very nice example though. GLWTS
Xander Wildeisen
If you are into this era of Mustangs, you have a great selection of cars to choose from, if looking to purchase. I think between 65-66 Ford did make about 1 million of them. You can find them in any color, style, condition or level of completed restoration/modification. Great car to be involved with, no shortage of original or aftermarket parts. I would drive a 66 daily, great cars for every day use.
