Small Block Chevy or GM Flathead V8 Wanted

Hi there, I’m located in FL and am looking for a carbureted small block Chevy motor or an older GM Flathead V8. I’m planning on putting it in my 52’ Pontiac, if I could find an era correct Flathead V8 that’d be great. Anything considered, thank you!

Early 1950s Pontiac could not have had a V8-

Only a Straight "6" or Straight "8" Flathead through 1954, and the afterward, only an Overhead valve V8.

 

Of course if you are street-rodding it, then it does not matter,

But the only GM Flathead V8 was Cadillac through the years with the final one in 1948,

after that all '50s Cadillacs were OHV-8

I'm in California & have a Flathead straight 8 from a '53 Pontiac wagon & its Hydramatic transmission. 

 

It's been sitting many years but turns over freely.

I believe that only Cadillac had a flathead v8.
