Hood light wiring

So I m looming at the wire for my under hood light, and it just seems so wrong, always stretched super tight with the hood open and just doesn't look factory.

Could anybody provide me with pics on how it's supposed to look? Thanks.

If you have a better idea,  let us know.

They could have used a longer wire, and routed it to the hinge and down. 

But that would cost more $$

Dang, that looks a lot better than mine

It looks like the connector on yours is mounted right below the light socket, whereas on my car the connector is mounted farther down and to the right of the hood insulation.

Looks like someone has hacked up the wiring on yours and left off the connector (C103). Then stretched the wire coming from the firewall to make it connect to the light... assuming all years are the same.
