1955 Buick Century/Special Tail Light Housings

Mudbone

Recommended Posts

These Tail Lights came off of a restored car that was totaled by fire. The right side looks show quality. The left side has some shadows but there is no pitting. (See Photos) (Lenses not included)

($850.00 or Best Offer)

Tempted, but I would hafta be there to make that call. Do you think there's a way to accurately depict that shadowing as it may not be able to be buffed out. Thanx!

I am not an expert on chrome plating but I know the process. It looks like the nickel plating that goes over the copper is thin as you can see a hint of copper color, but one area is darker. I am waiting for a quote to see what it would cost to fix it.

They gave me a quote of $800.00 just for one main housing! That sounds a little high as there is no pitting and are otherwise perfect. I may try another shop just out of curiosity......
