Search suddenly doesn't remember search words

Search suddenly doesn't remember search words. On two separate computers, so I don't think it is on my end.

Give me an example of what you're not able to find.

Normally when I click on the search box, under it, shows Studebaker, Erskine and Avanti. I then just click on the one that I want. These are the normal searches that I have done in the past.  When I click on the empty box now, it shows blank, and I have to type the search term.

your computer fills in the text. Not the forum.  The forum box defaults to empty and you have to type something in.

Just strange that both computers changed at the same time.

I couldn't get into the Forum this afternoon. Message said closed for maintenance. When it finally did let me back in, the saved search is back to working the way it was before.

I'm happy to hear that we finally got to the bottom of this problem with having to type in search terms. Thanks for letting us know that it's fixed.

FYI:

The search box is EMPTY for ALL.

Only your computer would preemptively enter search words like "Studebaker, Erskine and Avanti".  Think about it, why would those terms apply to almost anyone else automatically?

My suspicion has always been that when logged. in, it is saved, just like the program "knows" what has been read or cleared.

Makes no difference, as it stopped working again!

It was handy, as just the mouse used, instead of the mouse and keyboard.
