This mid-bodyside style is the 23rd Series trim configuration for all models. The oval taillights are the other change from the 22nd Series. There is a minor change in the wrap around grille bars which one has to compare to recognize. Indeed, the 356 cu in engine is very costly to rebuild so determining the 'health' of the engine would be central to any purchase decision. The wheelbase is 127", only the 7-passenger sedans and limousines are 148" Edited November 2, 2023 by 58L-Y8 addendum comments (see edit history)

B Jake Moran
I had a 22nd series Custom 8. I never got it restored as I went nuts buying late 40s iconic cars but I enjoyed sitting in it and being in its “aura”.
