Just stayed in Va. Beach for the night on the way to Hilton Head Island for the Concours. Stayed at the Cavalier Hotel properties. The Cavalier is from the 1920’s. Once the premier hotel for big bands in the country. Renovated in 2014. Long history. Beautiful hotel with great rooms, the dining room restaurant was beautiful, lounge areas, etc all beautiful. Well worth the visit. 
Stayed at their new beautiful Embassy Suites across the street on the oceanfront. Opened February 2023. On the Cavalier ocean Club property along with the club and a Marriott hotel. Lovely group of hotels. Will be staying at the Cavalier itself in the way home Monday night.

"Psycho" is still one of the most terrifying movies ever made. The 2013-2017 "Bates Motel" series was right there with it. Dark, psychological stuff that made you think.

 

Plus there were plenty of neat 50s Fords in the movie, and Norma Bates drove a Mercedes-Benz 280 SEL 4.5 in the BM series.
