Vinarcik Home for Sale: Cleveland, 6.5 car garage space (former Packard owners)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

My parents were longtime members of Packards International and I believe they were also AACA members (Dad ran Yesterday's Radio, which made replica knobs and under-running board antennas).

Their house is now for sale in Seven Hills, OH (southern suburb of Cleveland)...and has 2 2-car attached garages and a 2.5 car detached garage (plus a shed).

I'm posting here in the hope that an AACA member in the area may be in the market for this kind of home.

I know my folks had many years of enjoyment with the car clubs but that time of their lives is now over.  😞

Please share with anyone who might be interested.

I'm sorry for the loss of your parents.  I remember meeting them at Hershey a number of years ago.

May I ask what happened to the remaining inventory of Packard parts you dad had?  Both original parts and the reproduction stuff?  Did one of the Packard parts dealers buy it all up to re sell, or do you still have some of it?

You may want to consider listing your parents home on CarProperty.com, a web site for just what you are selling.

It's a world wide listing service where car people can shop by states for homes, dealerships, gas stations, etc..

When we sold our home in Florida we used them and had a buyer frim Japan come to see it.   I plan to list our 11 car garage home in NC ]with them soon, if I can't get my knees working again,    Check it out even if you are not selling or

still dreaming about a bigger garage, it's the place to look.

@K8096 I apologize for the lag in replying; the house sold quickly and I have been tied up with their move and such.  Lavine Restorations purchased Dad's Yesterday's Radio inventory and molds and now manufacture them as https://classiccarreproductions.com.  He sold all of his car parts to Max Merritt.

@K8096 P.S. They're still alive, just in assisted living up near me where I can help look after them.

Nice property, but all that wallpaper...

@EmTee Thanks.  And as for the decor...we're a wallpaper family.  My grandfather taught my Dad and Dad taught me.  Competently-hung wallpaper hides a lot of sins.  I know it's not for everybody, but for me it's like wearing a bow tie.  It shows I can do it.  Competently.  😀  And the ceiling appliques were from Fischer & Jirouch...they did a lot of the plasterwork for mansions back in the day.  Dad installed them himself.  http://www.fischerandjirouch.com/home-page.cfm
