I sold it to a local club member.  They sold it to another local member.  That member sold it to St. Louis Car Museum and it sold from there.  I'm assuming the current owner is the one who bought it.  So the 2-owner claim is incorrect.

I wonder whether all of the past records have

survived all of the transfers of ownership.  They make

car ownership more interesting, especially when they

may go back to the days when it was an everyday car.

My not-so-humble opinion on car histories:  I really don't care what it is, as long as it's a quality car.  If it's a spectacular story or celebrity owned, then that might matter.

 

It just grinds my gears a little when I see cars misrepresented in hopes of getting a couple extra grand.

I can tell you why the guy before me sold it, why I sold it, and why the two people after me sold it.  All valid “life” reasons…just been s run of bad luck for this car.

been passed along through all the new owners?

Not only is history interesting, but it can be helpful

to new owners to know what work was done, and when.
