60s GM Fan
So my 1966 Toro has developed what seems to be minor yet semi noticeable webbing cracks on the paint by the passenger rear quarter panel. They weren't there before so I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet and have it resprayed or just leave it alone. Its not detrimental but its noticeable at least to me. Thoughts? alsancle
A decent paint job on the Toronado is 20 K at least. I would leave it alone.
60s GM Fan
I wasn't thinking of respraying the entire car just the quarter panel. Overall the paint on the car is a #2 job for sure.

There is a good chance the mismatched quarter will look worse than the webbing and cracks.
rocketraider
60s Autumn Bronze and Trumpet Gold, and 70s Zodiac Blue have page after page of factory tech bulletins addressing how to get a good color match when repainting or blending panels. If the Toronado has its original lacquer finish, I'd keep it properly cleaned and polished to delay a respray as long as possible.
EmTee
Try some Meguiar's #7. Let it soak-in...
60s GM Fan
Sorry for the late reply but I've been a busy dude. Here's the damage I'm referring to. It appears that the paint didn't adhere properly and its causing it to crack. Any suggestions/comments?
