Low production to start, low survival rate now.  The N.A.D.A Used Car Guide for July 1955 list the retail for a factory priced $4,234 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan convertible at $930.  By October 1958, the average retail price was $240.  For comparison, the $3,987 1951 Cadillac 62 convertible was $1,875 in 1955 and still retail $650 in 1958.

One could probably count all the restored 1949-1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan convertibles that have been restored on two hands...still have a few fingers left over.
