Twisted Shifter
I see the two cars and the two engines. Where are the things the seller says are worth $38,000 ?
58L-Y8
Extremely optimistically priced for the pair. Both are two door club sedans (Packard's term for the two-door fastback body style). the maroon car is a 22nd Series 1948 Super Eight which has the 327 ci engine and by the red rubber clutch pedal indicates it was originally equipped with Electro-Matic Clutch and may have overdrive. The mid-level side trim is mid-1949 through 1950 23rd Series, something dealers would add either at customer request or in order to freshen-up a leftover to help it sell. The unrestored light gray club sedan is a mid-1949 through 1950 23rd Series, Eight or Eight Deluxe powered by the 288 ci engine.
