Why do Nashes get no respect?

I really like them, but it seems that many collectors stigmatize Nash/Rambler/AMC as cheap, nerdy family-type cars not deserving of respect.  The exception might be the AMX models from the late 60s-early 70s.

Does the seller have the missing stainless trim pieces?

Does that mean there is bearing grease?

or brake fluid leaking?
