Up for sale 1970 Chrysler Newport convertible one owner since 1970 garage kept its entire life hasn't been driven since 2008, we purchased it started it cleaned it up put a new set of tires on it and that's about it runs and drives beautiful has 35,000 original miles it has a 383 automatic with Factory air you can feel inside of the wheel wells they're not even dirty like brand new from the factory. look underneath the cobwebs are all over under the car it's like brand new I'm asking $10,900 or best offer. odometer: 35873

The Standard Catalog of American Cars, 1946-1975, Edited by John Gunnell states 1,124 1970 Chrysler Newport convertible built.  Last model year for full-sized Chrysler convertibles.

Now that is a bargian for this if it is mechanically sound

I don't have my references close at hand, but if

you look up the production numbers, I think you'll

find that they are low for these convertibles--

maybe just a few thousand.  The "300" convertibles

are seen much more often these days.
