1933 Cadillac === 8, 12 or 16 being scrapped

Local resident donated his 1933 Cadillac Roadster to the WWII scrap drive, can anyone tell if it was an 8,12 or 16? Bob

I can tell you what it is not , a 16  , it is not a rds but a ccp with roll up windows, 8 or 12 not possible for me from the picture to determine

Makes one hope that it was just a photo op for Mrs. Chisolm, and the car was then pushed into a hiding garage!

Doubtful.  In 1942, it was just a 9-year-old car, not a classic.  Since Mrs. Chisolm had an "estate superintendent" she apparently was well-to-do and likely had newer car(s).

I found out the 16's had different hood sides, so it was an 8 or maybe a 12. The main house still exists and the carriage house was converted to a two story house a long time ago. Think all the garage finds ended around 1952 here in town.

It is a 8 cylinder. The bumpers are different on the 12 and 16. In any case, it’s too bad.
