1937hd45
Local resident donated his 1933 Cadillac Roadster to the WWII scrap drive, can anyone tell if it was an 8,12 or 16? Bob

trimacar
Makes one hope that it was just a photo op for Mrs. Chisolm, and the car was then pushed into a hiding garage!

Doubtful. In 1942, it was just a 9-year-old car, not a classic. Since Mrs. Chisolm had an "estate superintendent" she apparently was well-to-do and likely had newer car(s).
1937hd45
I found out the 16's had different hood sides, so it was an 8 or maybe a 12. The main house still exists and the carriage house was converted to a two story house a long time ago. Think all the garage finds ended around 1952 here in town. Den41Buick
It is a 8 cylinder. The bumpers are different on the 12 and 16. In any case, it’s too bad.
