Question Regarding Factory Exhaust Outlets on a 56

I'm getting ready to attempt to have some of these made. Does anyone know what the rubbery material on the end is made from or where that material or similar material could be sourced?

I use industrial conveyor belt webbing or old tire sidewalls.

I bought a roll to redo some 57 ones from Rubber The Right Way.  I can't remember exactly what it's called but give them a call; they have great customer service in my experience.  It should be roughly .25" thick with some kind of string impregnated in it.

When I had to have one made they discussed using a piece of tire side wall.  I can't get to it right now for a picture but will see if I can get to it this weekend.

Thanks to all that responded.  I have some good ideas now, I will keep you posted.  If anyone else needs one, let me know and I'll see if I can work it out with my fabricator who is a member of this forum.
