Robert G. Smits
John Foust (Honest Johns Caddy Corner) passed away after a brief battle with cancer on September 24th. John grew up in a funeral home environment and fell in love with the Cadillacs used in the business. When his father refused to buy him a new Mustang at age 16 he a rehabilitated a non running 59 Fleetwood sedan that had been sitting for several years. After college he worked at Lonestar Cadillac until 1982 when he opened Honest Johns Caddy Corner in Denton Texas. This eventually grew into a worldwide Cadillac parts supplier. When I was actively restoring Cadillacs John was a reliable source of parts and always ready to share his vast knowledge. He will be missed in the Cadillac community. a griffin
Sad to hear. It sucks when our circles get smaller.

But I'd like to think that there could also be a topic, "The Hobby Gained Another One," whenever, unnoticed, a new enthusiast enters the arena.
