I'm a little skeptical on the blue one. This is a northeast rustbelt car and the seller states in the ad that it has some inter panel rust. You really have to crawl underneath and look. It appears the rockers were replaced at some point. It looks like the interior needs some refurbishment too.  I would prefer a 1956 Desoto with the larger 330 hemi to a 1955. Plus the 1956s had 12 volt electrics. Just a personal preference.

What is "Pending" anyway? If a guy spends an hour looking your car over at a swap meet, asks all the pertinent questions and then tells you he's buying the car and wants you to hold it for him until he gets back from the bank with the money does that make it Pending? When someone checks out your car, agrees to buy it and will be back "first thing" tomorrow morning with the money does that count as Pending? If a guy says he'll buy your car as long as you agree to a thorough nit-pick inspection by his personal mechanic with the car up on a lift could you call that Pending? And finally the person that has checked everything out, talked to you for hours, and told you he will be paying the full asking price for your car but "just has to run everything by his wife first" can that be interpreted as Pending?  In my book there is no such thing as Pending, it's either sold or it's not. All this BS has happened to me and none of these time-wasters bought anything. The car's sold when I have the money in my hands and the title's been transferred to the new owner. No exceptions and No Pending.
