Interesting for sure! Another ad by a non-car owner. More pictures in the link below

This is an original Davis Perfection Bakery delivery truck. It was converted from a horse drawn carriage to a Ford Motor Model T engine. All parts shown are included.
This would be a great project for the car lover or an amazing display for a bakery/coffee shop etc.
Painted side is a layover piece of plywood - original wood and faded graphics are in tact.
This was owned for a decades by a friend and now we have had it for several years at our business. We have to down size and are looking to find a good home for this special piece.

Looks like they pieced stuff together enough so it resembles a vehicle for a sale. My guess about an hour before this pic was taken there was a pile of parts. If they filled my tank with the gas to get to them, I would take it off their hands, but not sure I am a glutton for punishment enough to buy it.

Looks like enough good early stuff to be well worth the $3750. The engine is not brass era, but a fair amount of the stuff may be? With a bit of effort, that body may or may not be good enough to refit to the model T chassis and restore to a nice usable model T delivery truck. If it is good enough, it would make a great 1914/'15 delivery (whichever one preferred?) . Most of the oil side and tail lamps are there for a 1914, so that might be the better option? The headlamps I see may not be Ford issue, and I cannot even tell if they are a matched pair or not.

Horse drawn delivery wagons were often converted onto model Ts and other car chassis in the era. This has some real potential to become a fine model T!

Seeing it makes me wish I still had the 1914 pickup I had years ago.

Thanks, Leif!  Why is all the good stuff on the west coast?

Reading this forum, I often think "why are all the neat cars back East?"
