Leif in Calif
Looks nice but I think the seller is confusing "rare" with "valuable" The film connection would add something if it was a movie anyone remembered. No information about actual condition of the car, unfortunately. https://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/d/wichita-1923-reo/7507151045.html email: 0fa7ca8d7eed36dfbb5e51b0b2e0dcce@sale.craigslist.org Beautiful 100 year old car! Was restored many years ago and was in a museum for many years. It is know as a T6 Phaeton. One of a few KNOWN TO EXIST!Was featured in Car Classics magazine. It also was in a 1973 movie called "Ace Eli & Roger of the Skies" (Filmed in Mt. Hope, Ks.)In the movie Cliff Robertson, Pamela Franklin, Rosemary Murphy and appearing for the first time was Bernadette Peters!I even have pictures with the film crew using the REO to shoot the picture, in which a platform was built around the car for the camera man and director. They did not have "dash cams" back in those days! The tag was added while in the museum. Pretty cool since it has lived most of its life in Kansas.I have had the car in several car shows in my day just to show it off and help with fund raisers! As you will notice it will need a bit of a touch up on the paint. the odometer is accurate and not rolled over.Has been stored inside a metal shed all of its life since leaving the museum. RodgerWilson
I have a ‘21 REO T-6 Touring and back in the late 70’s my dad had a ‘24 REO T-6 7 passenger Touring. The pictures of this car looks as if it also has the jump seats for the 7 passenger seating. If that’s the case I believe the car is a Touring Car not a Phaeton as the Phaeton was a 5 passenger car. Attached are a few pictures of my ‘21 REO. Compare this to the pictures of this car for condition. I am asking $24,000 for mine. It has 39,000 actual miles and I am the 4th owner. Thanks.

paulrhd29nz
Interesting that they cropped the motor out of the only drive line photo.
