Larry In Michigan
This is a picture of my great grandparents and relatives in their car c.1910. Can someone please identify the car model and year? Thank You Larry
Larry In Michigan
BTW, for what it might be worth, the picture was most probably taken in Rock Island, IL.

nzcarnerd
Out of curiosity I have flipped the photo to see how it looks. I haven't worked out the make but I think the car dates from not earlier than 1913 and most cars were still right hand drive at that time. Not many cars of that era had the front fender curved like that.
Larry In Michigan
I believe that the little boy in the front was my grandmother's older brother, and he was born around 1907. I have another picture which I think is of the same car. Larry
Larry In Michigan
When I was young, my grandmother told me that her father had one of the first cars in Rock Island. Larry
rocketraider
Were there any carmakers in Rock Island or surrounding areas at that time?

Larry In Michigan
Thank you for the information. If this was really a 1914 model, then the child in the front could not have been my grandmother's brother. Larry
