Morgan 1957 - $30,000 (Florence, OR)

The inoperable odometer reads 36,596 miles, but it is evident that during it’s sixty-four years that this Morgan has  been professionally restored at some time and well cared for. This is an original car in the sense that all of the parts which came from the factory are still with this Morgan. Originally Ming Blue in color, the car is presently British Racing Green on the body with darker green fenders. Initially, this Plus Four was purchased by two separate residents of Mansfield and Huron Ohio, where it resided for 48 years until we, the present owners, purchased it. Three owners in its 65 year history! We bought the car in 2006 and as third owners have owned this Morgan for fifteen (15 )years.
Regrettably, due to our age and medical issues we have to sell this Morgan. The Morgan now resides in Northern California where it is parked in its own private garage. We cannot attest to the actual miles on the engine or chassis as the odometer is inoperable.
What we can speak to regarding this Morgan is our love for the car and many of its attributes and upgrades that we have undertaken to make the car better, more reliable and enjoyable to drive. This is a solid, very drivable Morgan, and just a fun car to drive. The engine runs strong and well and doesn’t emit any smoke in the exhaust. Upon our purchase, November 2006, we had the Morgan surveyed by a British Car Specialists of Stockton California. They prepared a “punch-list” of repairs and improvements which would
render the car to be more drivable in the California heat in our Central Valley. The Buyer of this Morgan will be able to view the inspection document and confirm for themselves upon looking
at our Morgan that the improvements, plus many others, have been done. The improvements themselves account for thousands of dollars of expenditures over other same year Morgan’s
offered on this and other websites without as many improvements.
To date, the following has been upgraded or repaired on this Morgan:
Rebuilt carburetors
Tuneup
Convert to negative ground
New motor mounts

This Morgan is an “original” in every sense of the word. While the photos presented with this
ad reflects after market replacements and upgrades, such as the Motolita steering wheel and
and factory bucket seats, this car comes with the original Brookline banjo steering, starter,
generator, exhaust manifold, and seats should the buyer wish to restore to original.
This is a highly drivable California Morgan that can be a kick to drive on California freeways. It
creates many smiles and “thumbs up” gestures from motorists who appreciate a good looking
Morgan.

My Triumph friends always wanted a Morgan.  Me too, great classic styling.  I regret never buying a true 2 seat sports car. But hey, I bought motorcycles instead which gave me the open wind sports experience for less money, or at least I tell my self it was less money😀.

Seems to me located some where in central California rather than Florence OR, which is too bad because Florence is a lovely town by the sea.

These look fun but my town would have to resurface ever pot holed street before it would be fun to drive. I used to have a TR3 and I came to the realization it was more fun to see it drive by than to drive it.
