B Rogers 1946
I am looking for a Glove box door for my 1946 Chrysler Windsor. The plastic outside shell it split. Thanks
Joe Cocuzza
Good luck finding one that isn't split. Sometimes the plastic part can be removed and repaired (using filler) and then repainted. There was someone (years ago) reproducing them but I couldn't tell you how to contact him.

christianad1156
I'm working on this now. I've got some plastic pieces to be used as a template out to a shop that specializes in reproduction plastic for auto restoration. However I did not send in a glove box door yet. I could use a couple decent templates, even if they're broken, to send in to be reproduced. If you or anybody has a couple I could use I'll send it to be reproduced. I'll probably wait to see how the first round of parts come out to make sure the quality is good enough. It would be great if would like to donate or let me borrow a glove box door. A good template could be made from a couple of pieces that were broken in different spots. Let me know if you're interested in being involved. B Rogers 1946
I have a 1946 Chrysler Windsor with the plastic over metal glove box door. I have a 3D print company making up a new cover in Nylon for durability. The prototype (1/2 of the cover) fit well and snapped on. They should have the completed versions this Wednesday (3/9/22) and I can report back with pictures. If it works I have already paid for the design so it would be just the print costs for you. Let me know if you would like to see the completed version. Bruce Rogers
B Rogers 1946
Here is the first run of the 3D printed glove box cover. It is a little dirty from fitting and handling. I feel it needs a slight adjustment on top to accurately match the dash lines. The cover is paintable and that is the next step to see how it takes paint. Cover fits snug to metal back plate.
