Let’s talk about car lifts

No where in the above posts did I see mention of the health benefits

of four jack stands. The crawling around and the getting up and down is

great exercise.

As an octogenarian with a weakened memory ( read: I crawled out and got up to get what?) this exercise is invaluable and I couldn’t force myself to get it any other way.

Also, the verbal and physical venting caused by a stuck/twisted creeper

wheel makes me a calmer and gentler person away from the garage.

I'm only in my 60s, but this is SOOOO true. Thanks for the smile.

Well, having a lift does provide opportunities for cognitive exercise beyond that offered by jack stands.  Hypothesizing the trajectory of that special-purpose spring clip that just popped out of your fingers 5 feet above the floor is much more challenging than when the car was only 18 inches off the floor...  :(
