50ChevyFrank Posted July 28, 2021 Share Posted July 28, 2021 I suppose quite a bit has been written about the Hydramatic Plant Fire of 1953. http://www.autotran.us/TheGreatHydraMaticFire.html Most reports I have read state that some Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles were equipped with Dynaflow transmissions, and Pontiacs with Powerglides, until the new plant could be built and up to speed.
